Tuesday's Class 5/14 - The Magic Flight Home, Resucue from Without and The Crossing


What You Need for Class Today...
  1. Composition Book
  2. Pen/Pencil
  3. Challenges of the Hero's Journey Graphic Organizer

1.        Think – Think about an adventure film you have seen
                     where the main character takes a magic flight home.
2.        Pair – Find a partner next to you. Do not change seats.
3.        Share – Explain your hero’s magic flight home with your partner.
Be ready to explain your partner’s movie, magic flight home and herowith the class for a participation grade.

  5. MINI-LESSONDefine the last three stages of the hero's journey stages of the hero's journey.
  6. PRACTICEUsing video clips from the film Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade students will define each stage of the hero’s journey and write down examples for each stage.
  7. ASSESSMENT: Completion of the graphic organizer.
  8. HOMEWORK: None
